Brammertz: Improve mechanisms for regional cooperation in war crimes cases

SARAJEVO, September 23 (FENA) - Regional cooperation needs to be enhanced, otherwise, we cannot expect progress in the prosecution of war crime cases, stated Serge Brammertz, Chief Prosecutor of the International Residual Mechanism for Criminal Tribunals, during his meeting in Sarajevo with the officials from the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Court of BiH, the Prosecutor's Office of BiH, the Ministry of Justice of BiH, and representatives of war victims' associations.
