Pettigrew: UN resolution is support for survivors and incentive to establish culture of remembrance

SARAJEVO, July 9 (FENA) - The commemoration of the anniversary of the genocide in Srebrenica this year takes on a special significance after the official adoption of the Resolution of the United Nations General Assembly declaring July 11 the International Day of Remembrance of the Genocide in Srebrenica in 1995, said in an interview with FENA Professor of Philosophy and Holocaust and Genocide Studies at Southern Connecticut State University and a Member of the Board of Directors of Yale University's Genocide Studies Program, David Pettigrew.
