The results of application of Law on Prevention and Suppression of Corruption in SC presented

SARAJEVO, March 11 (FENA) - With the implementation of the Law on the Prevention and Suppression of Corruption in the Sarajevo Canton (SC), officials are prevented from performing several public functions, corruption whistleblowers are protected, and institutions are trained to recognize and prevent corruption. Thus, during 2023, 94 public office holders resigned due to conflict of interest, seven persons received the status of protected corruption whistleblowers, and all public institutions in the Canton adopted appropriate documents for the prevention of corruption.
