SARAJEVO, December 5 (FENA) - International Volunteer Day is celebrated on December 5 every year, mandated as an international observance by the United Nations General Assembly in 1985. It's a day where volunteers are acknowledged, and the spirit of volunteerism is promoted. It is an occasion to acknowledge and appreciate the efforts of volunteers who dedicate their time and skills to make a positive difference in the lives of others and their communities.
