Council of Europe: BiH must speed up all processes and permanently protect the upper Neretva River

MOSTAR, December 5 (FENA) - Concrete steps towards the suspension of the construction of the hydropower plant (HE) "Ulog", the termination of concession contracts for the planned HPP "Gornja Neretva", HPP "Glavatičevo" and HPP "Bjelimići", as well as adequate protection of the entire watershed of the upper Neretva has not been undertaken and BiH must speed up the processes and permanently protect the upper course of this river, was the conclusion of the meeting of the Standing Committee for the Berne Convention at the Council of Europe.
