BIHAĆ, July 27 (FENA) - This year's 49th International Tourist Una Regatta was opened in Martin Brod last night by Prime Minister of the Una-Sana Canton Mustafa Ružnić, Mayor of Bihać Elvedin Sedić and Director of Una National Park Amarildo Mulić.
"Grateful to all the employees, partners and people who worked tirelessly in the past few days so that everything was ready for this year's edition of the Una Regatta. I would like to thank media sponsors and in general all the media that will cover Una Regatta in the coming days. We will try once again to justify the reputation of one of the most attractive tourist and sports events in this part of the country. I wish all the participants good luck and enjoy the emerald beauty to the maximum," stated Amarildo Mulić.
Cantonal Prime Minister Mustafa Ružnić called the Una Regatta the queen of events of this type, while the mayor of Bihać expressed his satisfaction that it passes through Bihać for the most part, and enriches the tourist offer of this city.
The organizers have confirmed that more than 400 participants will take part in today's first stage, who will head with about fifty boats to the most attractive destination of the Una National Park - Štrbački Buk, where a rich entertainment program will traditionally be organized tonight.
The most exciting part is expected tomorrow, considering that more than 800 participants have registered for the most attractive stage from Štrbački Buk to Bihać.
In addition to a large number of participants from the Una-Sana Canton and other parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina, there will also be numerous tourists and guests from the countries of the region, as well as Germany, Austria, the USA and other countries.
