Red alert issued for northern, northeastern and central Bosnia due to heat

SARAJEVO, July 24 (FENA) - The FBiH Hydrometeorological Institute (FHMZ) issued a red warning for today due to the high daily air temperature. The warning was issued for the area of northern, northeastern and central Bosnia from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The maximum temperatures in Bosnia and Herzegovina will be between 33 and 38 (within the limits of the orange warning), and in the northern, northeastern and partially central areas of Bosnia up to 40 degrees.

"Be prepared for high temperatures that will lead to health risks among vulnerable people, for example, the elderly and the very young. Act in accordance with the advice of the authorized institutions. For any additional information, please contact the relevant institutions," FHMZ stated.
