Voter turnout for the referendum in Stari Grad Municipality until 3:00 p.m. was less than 10 percent

SARAJEVO, July 23 (FENA) - In the Sarajevo Municipality of Stari Grad, a referendum took place today in which the citizens voted for the impeachment of the mayor of that municipality, Ibrahim Hadžibajrić.

A total of 36,193 citizens had the right to vote at 46 polling stations.

The President of the Stari Grad Sarajevo Municipal Election Commission, Mirza Imamović, announced the second preliminary breakdown of the results of citizens' turnout at polling stations until 3:00 p.m.

"So far, we had 3,379 voters who have come to exercise their right to vote or 9.3 percent of the total number of voters with the right to vote in the area of Stari Grad Municipality," Imamović told FENA. 

Polling stations closed at 19:00 hrs.

The first results are expected seven hours after the closing of the polling stations, and the second results the next day until 7:00 p.m., when the votes received through mobile teams, absentee voting, will be counted.

The final results will be published 30 days after the referendum at the latest.
