SANSKI MOST, July 21 (FENA) - The waterfall on the Bliha River, a gem of nature located near Sanski Most, is one of the biggest tourist attractions in the region. It is visited by tourists from all over the world who enjoy the untouched nature and the magnificent sight of a 56-meter-high and ten-meter-wide waterfall.
Visitors can enjoy a walk around the waterfall, one of the most impressive in BiH, and experience the peace and freshness that nature offers. There is also the possibility to have a picnic on the river bank or to explore the surrounding areas and nature trails.
Safeta Dizdarević, a visitor from Bihać, says that not many people have seen the Bliha waterfall, but those who visit it are impressed with its own specific cut in the canyon, which gives it a special appearance and is precisely why it is attractive.
Tourism in Sanski Most is on the rise thanks to this breathtaking natural attraction. Also, this area offers other attractions, such as the medieval fortress of Gradina, old mosques and churches, which are also popular among tourists.
"The municipality of Sanski Most has arranged a path for visitors to the waterfall with its own funds. They took good care to use natural materials, but at the same time, they are long-lasting and aesthetically acceptable.
In the long term, we aim to make the area of the Bliha waterfall, as well as the river itself with its rapids and waterfalls, become an all-day destination both for our guests who are always dear to us, and for the local population," the Municipal Mayor of Sanski Most, Faris Hasanebegović told FENA.
Near the waterfall, there are also restaurants and cafes where visitors can enjoy Bosnian cuisine and traditional dishes.
The Bliha waterfall is protected as a natural monument, and this area is home to numerous plant and animal species.
