SARAJEVO, July 17 (FENA) - Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Development, Entrepreneurship and Crafts Vojin Mijatović and Minister of Displaced Persons and Refugees of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Nerin Dizdar, today signed contracts for establishing start-up business with 59 beneficiaries from returnee communities.
As Minister Dizdar told journalists, a total of 843,942 KM, or 15,000 KM per beneficiary, was allocated for this purpose.
He pointed out that the returnees who signed the contracts today come from Republika Srpska, but also from the part of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina around Bosansko Grahovo and Drvar.
"This public call was published before my appointment, and I believe that it should have covered the whole of Bosnia and Herzegovina. There should be no denial of funds to returnees based on their place of residence. We will correct all public calls in the future," the Minister pointed out and added that all returnees should be treated in the same way.
Dizdar said that the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the FBiH Ministry of Displaced Persons and Refugees plan to further strengthen the return and the employment of returnees.
Deputy Prime Minister Mijatović said that support for self-employment, creation of new jobs and sustainable return are strategic determinants of the Government of the Federation of BiH in this convocation.
The FBiH Ministry of Displaced Persons and Refugees program, "Support for the Development of Start-up Businesses of Returnees", was launched in 2017, and the public call is announced every year.
