SREBRENICA, July 10 (FENA) - The delegation of the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, led by Prime Minister Nermin Nikšić, visited today the Potočari Memorial Center and graves of the victims of the 1995 genocide.
A delegation of the FBiH Government, in addition to Prime Minister Nikšić, was consisted of Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of Development, Entrepreneurship and Crafts Vojin Mijatović, Ministers for Veterans and Disabled of the Defense and Liberation War Nedžad Lokmić, Displaced Persons and Refugees Nerin Dizdar, Education and Science Jasna Duraković, as well as Minister of Trade Amir Hasičević.
"The restoration of Srebrenica, the preservation of memory, the construction and development of the Memorial Center is the responsibility of all of us. The support of the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina will not be missing in that sense. Srebrenica must be a symbol of renewed life and the whole of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Likewise, it is our obligation to be with the families of victims and survivors in their search for their loved ones, as well as to fight against those who, even 28 years after the genocide, are not ready to face the truth, but continue to falsify historical facts, said Prime Minister Nikšić.
Also, the delegation of the Government of the Federation visited the newly built helipad on the grounds of the Srebrenica Memorial Center, the construction of which was supported by the FBiH Ministry of Displaced Persons and Refugees from the FBiH Budget.
This helipad will serve for emergency interventions for the needs of the population in the Srebrenica region and for easier arrival of delegations and visitors to the Memorial Center.
