Police Attaché of Austrian Embassy and Head of JCP visit BiH Border Police

SARAJEVO, July 5 (FENA) - Director of the Border Police of BiH, Mirko Kuprešaković, received today Police Attaché of the Embassy of Austria in BiH, Karlheinz Gortan, and Head of the Joint Coordination Platform (JCP), Berndt Körner, with whom he discussed the security situation and challenges in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

 

The interlocutors emphasized the fight against illegal migration, and the improvement of the previous cooperation, announced BiH Border Police.

Kuprešaković singled out significant activities of the BiH Border Police in the past period and pointed out that members of this police agency, despite many challenges, invest maximum efforts in protecting the state border.

The participants of the meeting concluded that it is important to strengthen cooperation in all segments and to exchange information and experiences to suppress every form of crime. Further modalities of cooperation were also agreed at the meeting.
