SARAJEVO, July 4 (FENA) - FBiH Minister of Labor and Social Policy Adnan Delić met today with Manuel Aigner, Attaché of the Austrian Embassy in BiH for Social Affairs, Health, Care, and Consumer Protection. The officials discussed the relations and cooperation between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Austria and on improving cooperation in the field of social policy, with a focus on the position and improvement of the status of persons with disabilities in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Minister Delić thanked Attaché Aigner for the contribution of the Republic of Austria to reintegration of vulnerable categories into society, and emphasized the will to continue and strengthen good cooperation in the fields where there is a possibility, and one of them, as the minister said, is the process of rehabilitation and professional training of persons with disabilities for the open labor market.
Attaché Aigner pointed out that the focus of Austria's support in BiH is on vulnerable categories of society and their reintegration into society. He also emphasized that the Minister and the Ministry have full support in everything that Austria can help.
"Both in BiH and in Austria, our focus is the same. We help and encourage deinstitutionalization and reintegration of people with disabilities into society and the free labor market. In certain segments, we have an advantage and more developed support systems, but a good part of the problem related to the incentive to employ people with disabilities is the same in Austria and Bosnia and Herzegovina. We will certainly be happy to share our good practices with the Ministry and we look forward to good cooperation from today onwards," said the Austrian Attaché Aigner, who also announced the arrival of the head of the section responsible for European international policy planned for the fall of this year, the Press Service of the FBiH Government announced.
