SARAJEVO, July 3 (FENA) - The Archives of the Federation of BiH in memory of the genocide in Srebrenica hosts an exhibition titled "Underground" which will open tomorrow in the atomic shelter at Ciglane in Sarajevo, which, in addition to the photographs, will present to the public for the first time, the original personal belongings of the victims, and authentic audio and video materials.
The aim of the exhibition is to bring us closer to the events that preceded the genocide through authentic audio recordings and to point out the extent of the genocide by displaying photos and objects belonging to the victims found in graves in the wider area of Srebrenica, in Podrinje.
The exhibition contains 30 photographs of 14 mass graves from the holdings of the FBiH Archives and the Srebrenica Memorial Center, as well as items of the victims such as wristwatches, tobacco boxes, belts, lighters, keys, glasses and other items.
The opening of the "Underground" exhibition will be attended by high-ranking officials of Bosnia and Herzegovina's diplomacy, representatives of embassies, legislative and executive authorities of all levels in BiH, religious institutions and the non-governmental sector.
The exhibition is scheduled to be opened by the Prime Minister of the Federation of BiH, Nermin Nikšić.
