SARAJEVO, June 30 (FENA) - The Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina today considered the Report on the performed checks of the proposed candidate for the post of Minister of Finance and Treasury of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
After the checks, the CEC of Bosnia and Herzegovina issued a certificate today that Srđan Amidžić, the candidate for the post of Minister of Finance and Treasury of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, meets all the necessary conditions prescribed by the provisions of Article 1.6, 1.7, and 4.2 of the Election Law of Bosnia and Herzegovina for appointment to the position in the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the CEC of BiH announced.
The Central Election Commission of BiH noted that by inspecting the database of the Central Election Commission of BiH, it was determined that Srđan Amidžić has the mandate of councilor in the Assembly of the City of Banja Luka won in the Local Elections of 2020, from the candidate list of the political entity Alliance of Independent Social Democrats - SNSD - Milorad Dodik.
They remind that Article 1.8 paragraph (4) of the BiH Election Law stipulates that one person can perform at most one directly elected public office or most one directly and one indirectly elected office unless otherwise regulated by this law.
