SARAJEVO, June 18 (FENA) - Rikardo Druškić's art installation 'Endless poetry of movement - Accepting the dance of chaos and order' opened the second edition of the special program of the Sarajevo National Theater (NPS) 'Culture on the Streets 2023!'.
Students of the Academy of Fine Arts, majoring in painting and sculpture, paint during the day at the Susan Sontag Theater Square as part of the multimedia content.
Student at the Academy of Fine Arts Imran Muratagić emphasizes, in a statement to journalists, the importance of presenting art on the street, bringing closer to citizens what they, as students, do within the Academy.
From last year's experience, Muratagić says that citizens are interested in this type of program. Last year, many of them approached and asked what they were doing and how they were doing it. He says that this is proof that people need more events of this kind.
"Culture on the streets 2023!" program will last until October 1st, and thirty programs are planned, such as drama, ballet and opera performances on the squares in the Sarajevo Canton, as well as exhibitions, art colonies, and concerts of classical and contemporary music. Experiences and the number of visitors from last year confirm the quality of program, and the organizers expect the same this year.
Festival "Culture on the Streets 2023!" is a special program of the Sarajevo National Theater that takes place in the public spaces of Sarajevo municipalities, under the auspices of the Sarajevo Canton Government and in partnership with the Sarajevo Canton Tourism Board.
