SREBRENICA, June 12 (FENA) - The draft program for commemorating the 28th anniversary of the genocide against the Bosniaks of the "UN Safe Area" Srebrenica was adopted today at the third meeting of the Organizing Committee for the commemoration of July 11, 1995.
The president of the Organizing Committee, Hamdija Fejzić, said that the final program will be adopted at the next session.
"We are satisfied with what we have done so far. According to information from the Institute for Missing Persons of BiH, so far 29 families have given consent for the burial of their loved ones at this year's funeral on July 11," said Fejzić after the meeting.
This year, the Peace March will be held for the nineteenth time, one of the most massive activities as part of the commemoration of the anniversary of the genocide.
Currently, 28 organized groups with 776 participants and 636 individuals are registered for participation, and there are a total of 1,409 registered participants who will walk more than 100 kilometers from Nezuk to Potočari.
