TUZLA, June 4 (FENA) - The Association of Endoscopic Surgeons in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which has been in existence since 2018 with the aim of improving and further developing endoscopic surgery in BiH, already has behind it a series of realized activities and fruitful cooperation with colleagues from Europe and the world.
It is a state-level association whose members are doctors who deal with abdominal, thoracic or pediatric surgery, urology, gynecology, otorhinolaryngology, gastroenterology, as well as other medical professionals who deal with endoscopic surgery.
The goal is to achieve better access to new knowledge and experiences in the field of endoscopic surgery, the association of doctors and integration into the European Association of Endoscopic Surgeons (EAES), and to enable all young surgeons in BiH an easier path to education in some of the European centers.
The President of the Association is Professor. Dr. Samir Delibegović, a subspecialist in general and abdominal surgery, who proudly points out the organization of two congresses of endoscopic surgeons and the organization of educational workshops throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina.
He underlines that Turkey has excellent medicine and surgery, and one of the best is the Koç Hospital.
Also, as a member of the European Association of Endoscopic Surgeons and the American Association of Endoscopic Surgeons, he emphasizes the importance of educating young surgeons.
