SARAJEVO, June 1 (FENA) - At the proposal of the Ministry of Civil Affairs, the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina accepted at today's session the proposal to sign a Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Bulgaria.
The press release states that the objectives of the Memorandum are, above all, the exchange of knowledge, experience, resources and the development of long-term cooperation between the two countries in the interest of the development of sports and other issues of interest to young people.
The memorandum envisages the establishment of cooperation between coaches, experts, professional associates and researchers in the fields of elite sports, sports for all, sports science, sports medicine and sports law. It will be easier for the sports organizations of the two countries to organize joint scientific seminars, conferences and research, as well as the exchange of publications, data and teaching materials in the field of sports, physical education and physical activity.
Cooperation in the fight against doping in sports is also significant, as is the promotion and development of traditional sports and games.
The signing of the Memorandum on cooperation in the field of youth and sports should ensure mutual support of the two countries during their participation in the work of international organizations such as the Berlin Process, UNESCO, and the Council of Europe, reads the statement of the Ministry of Civil Affairs of BiH.
