SARAJEVO, May 31 (FENA) - An expert associate from the Special Department for War Crimes of the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, by order of the acting prosecutor and with the order of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, coordinated the exhumation process at the site of the Greblo-Konjević Polje cemetery in the municipality of Bratunac.
At that location, the remains were exhumed from four unmarked grave sites, in order to take samples for determining the identity of persons through DNA analysis.
In three burial places, remains were found, from which bone samples were taken, and the identity of the persons to whom they belong will be determined in the further process.
According to the available information, it is most likely the bodies belong to Bosniak victims who were killed by mortar grenades in the fall of 1992, stated the BiH Prosecutor's Office.
