SARAJEVO, May 25 (FENA) - High Representative Christian Schmidt marked the anniversary of the Tuzlanska kapija massacre which claimed the lives of 71 young people in Tuzla.
"Their young lives were brutally cut short on 25 May 1995. This horrific crime must serve as a reminder and motivation to us all to do our best to make sure something like this never happens again.
Politicians, in particular, should redouble their efforts toward reconciliation and creation of opportunities for young people to realize their potential and thrive in a democratic and prosperous Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Office of the High Representative announced on its Twitter account.
