SARAJEVO, May 17 (FENA) - Bosnia and Herzegovina Presidency member Denis Bećirović said today at the opening of the Sarajevo Business Forum that the conference has established itself as one of the most important investment and business events in this part of Europe.
He added that he is particularly pleased that the importance of that forum grows year by year and confirms Bosnia and Herzegovina as a strategically important destination that increasingly attracts investors from all over the world.
- I believe that it is the duty of the state officials of Bosnia and Herzegovina to give full support to the gathering and connection of business people and investors from our country and the whole world, respecting our unique position that connects the east and the west in terms of geography and civilization - said Bećirović.
BiH Minister of Foreign Affairs Elmedin Konaković said that for 12 years in a row, this conference brings together people from different sectors and countries who share knowledge and experience and create new business connections.
- In order to create a competitive and sustainable business environment, we are putting great effort into implementing structural reforms, strengthening the rule of law and fighting corruption, and we are trying to establish a partnership with the private sector - said Konaković.
He emphasized that the authorities are committed to improving education and vocational training to ensure that our workforce is ready for the demands of the modern labor market.
