SARAJEVO, May 11 (FENA) - The Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Borjana Krišto, told reporters that today's session, in terms of its strength, capacity and the decisions they made, is worth at least 100 days of the work of the Council of Ministers.

- Today, at the Council of Ministers, we unanimously adopted a series of decisions that are very important, and they concern legal projects, certain decisions, priorities related to our European path - stated Krišto.

She pointed out that the Law on Amendments to the Law on the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of BiH was adopted, adding that it is an important direction in fulfilling priorities.

The Law on Foreign Affairs of BiH was also adopted, which, as she stated, also refers to the process of advancement in European integration to full membership and the strategic goal of BiH in the coming period.

- The consensus also supported two strategic projects, and they refer to diversification with Croatia and Serbia, where it is desired to ensure more sources of natural gas supply for BiH for the benefit of all the inhabitants of BiH, and also for the benefit of the economy - said Krišto.

It is about the southern interconnection of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Croatia, where they gave support and called on the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina to pass a law as soon as possible "so that we can start implementing this project".

- We also brought support for the new eastern interconnection between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia. There we have the basis for concluding an agreement, so we approached this project in such a way that we started with the basis for concluding an agreement and appointed a commission. We have left the southern interconnection for the moment when the conditions are met, that is, when the law on the southern interconnection is passed at the level of the FBiH entity - said the chairwoman of the Council of Ministers.

According to her, the Council of Ministers tasked the competent agency with developing a new strategy for the fight against corruption.

- We agreed that the Agency for the Prevention of Corruption and the Fight Against Corruption should be tasked with developing a new strategy for the period 2024-2026. and to submit it to the Council of Ministers for confirmation - said Krišto.

She said that they also brought important points related to the department of the Ministry of Defense on the acquisition of helicopters, then on the training of personnel in the Ministry of Defense, that is, the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

- I think that these are very important points concerning the departments of the Ministry of Defense. It is also about a donation, and also about securing funds from the budget of BiH institutions - Krišto pointed out.
