SARAJEVO, May 4 (FENA) - Today's first working session of the newly appointed Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina was well prepared, everything went well and without any delay, said FBiH Prime Minister Nermin Nikšić.

FBiH Prime Minister Nermin Nikšić expressed hope that a similar trend will continue.

The agenda included the appointment of the Government delegation to the Economic and Social Council and the staffing of the commissions for administrative and status issues.

With its conclusions, the Government stopped the appointment processes that had started, the competitive procedures for admission to employment in all institutions and agencies, ministries and public enterprises under its jurisdiction, with the possibility of making an exception where it is necessary, in such a way that the Government approves appointments, at the proposal of the line ministry.

The deadlines for public calls in the Ministry of Development, Entrepreneurship and Crafts and the Ministry for Refugees and Displaced Persons have been extended, said Nikšić, citing some of the technical matters agreed by the newly formed government today.

When asked by a journalist when new appointments and personnel in public institutions and companies can be expected, the Prime Minister replied that the Government will not 'enforce procedures, laws or carry out any kind of revenge or persecution'. With one of today's conclusions, the government called on the members of the incumbent boards of public companies and enterprises to make their mandates available to the Government in a certain way.

“The government needs to appoint teams that will implement the government's policy, and of course, when that government ends, that administration needs to end as well. If the Government wants to hire them then they continue to work and appoint them,” he said.
