SARAJEVO, April 28 (FENA) - Members of the Bosniak caucus in the House of Peoples of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina today at a press conference in the FBiH Parliament called on the members of the House of Representatives not to vote for, as they say, the unconstitutional government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
"This would show the HR, as well as other domestic and international factors, that we do not agree to apartheid and preventing any chance that the FBiH, and thus BiH, will one day be a modern and democratic and civil society, like all societies and states in Europe," said the president of the Bosniak caucus, Muamer Zukić.
He especially called on the deputies from the Bosniak people, who are members of the Troika coalition to find enough strength, patriotism and dignity in themselves, and to "not put Bosniaks in the ghetto" with their votes.
Members of the Bosniak caucus condemned the High Representative's Decision, which was passed yesterday in order to unblock the process of appointing the FBiH Government, and which should be confirmed by the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament at today's session.
On this occasion, the vice-president of the Federation of BiH, Refik Lendo, said that the decision of the HR "has erased Bosniaks, himself and the Bosniak caucus."
"What Troika says are long-term measures, they are lying, these are short-term measures with which he neglected my position. What he did yesterday and what he presented for next year was done in agreement with the HDZ," said Lendo.
Yesterday, the High Representative made it possible for the FBiH Government to be appointed without the signature of the FBiH Vice President Refik Lendo.
"Those who today need to vote on something that is against the Constitution, are now being guarded by the police. God forbid such a government that the police have to guard. We now left the Juma prayer with our heads held high and the people are greeting us. Certain parties are trying to disorient the Bosniak people so that they don't remember their history and what happened in the 1992-1995 period. They are arresting our heroes," said Lendo.
