Consumer prices in FBiH rose by 0.4 percent in March, annual inflation 10.2 percent

SARAJEVO, April 20 (FENA) - In the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, consumer prices in March this year increased by an average of 0.4 percent compared to the previous month.

Prices increased in the sections: clothing and footwear by 2.3 percent, alcoholic beverages and tobacco by 2.1 percent, food and non-alcoholic beverages by 1.1 percent, recreation and culture by 0 .9 percent, other goods and services by 0.7 percent, furniture, household appliances and regular home maintenance and health by 0.3 percent and restaurants and hotels by 0.2 percent.

Prices fell in the sections: transportation by 1.2 percent, housing, water, electricity, gas and other energy products by 0.7 percent and communications by 0.1 percent. In the education section, on average, prices did not change, according to data from the FBiH Office of Statistics. 

In March 2023, compared to March 2022, prices increased by 10.2 percent (annual inflation).
