SARAJEVO, March 31 (FENA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Elmedin Konaković, met today with the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sultan bin Ali Al-Khater, with whom he discussed bilateral relations between the two friendly countries, as well as on issues that are of common interest to BiH and Qatar.
The officials confirmed that Bosnia and Herzegovina and the State of Qatar have very good and friendly relations, both bilaterally and multilaterally, and that they have no outstanding issues. They expressed mutual interest in further strengthening relations, especially in terms of economy and investments.
Ambassador Al-Khater congratulated Konaković on his appointment as Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina and wished him success in his future work.
He emphasized the interest of Qatari investors in investing in BiH and expressed a special interest in solving administrative obstacles for Qatari citizens in connection with the ownership of the real estate in BiH.
Konaković informed the interlocutor about the current political situation and reform processes on BiH's path to the EU. He thanked Qatar for the assistance to our country, especially for donations during the coronavirus pandemic, the BiH Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced.
