RSNA adopts Draft Law on Amendments to the Criminal Code of RS

BANJA LUKA, March 23 (FENA) - MPs of the National Assembly of the Republika Srpska (RSNA) adopted today the Draft Law on Amendments to the Criminal Code of the Republika Srpska.

49 deputies voted for the proposed law, 21 were against it, and there were no abstentions.

At the proposal of the Legislative Committee, a conclusion was adopted, which refers the Draft Law to public debate for a period of 60 days.

The proposed draft law, among other things, stipulates that defamation will be a criminal offense, and fines are also prescribed.
