SARAJEVO, March 23 (FENA) - The proposed decision on the confirmation of the new Sarajevo Canton Government will be considered at the session scheduled for Friday, March 24.

After the presentation of the candidate of Our Party, People and Justice, the Social Democratic Party and the Party for Bosnia and Herzegovina for SC Prime Minister Nihad Uk, the Assembly will decide on the candidates for the Government of the Sarajevo Canton.

Uk said in an interview with FENA that he had been thinking about taking over this position for a long time and that as the youngest candidate for Prime Minister of the Sarajevo Canton, he feels an additional responsibility towards the citizens of SC, but also towards the young people of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

He pointed out that he wants to encourage young people to participate in processes, take responsibility and create the future through committed engagement.

Uk emphasized that they cannot do much without the support of citizens regardless of their level of competence.

“The new government will not start from the beginning. We have good foundations and I use this opportunity to thank the previous government,” added Uk.

This Assembly and the Government must be a mirror of Sarajevo that will emphasize its dignity, but our canton also must be a mirror of the dignity of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Darja Softić Kadenić is Our Party candidate for Minister of Justice and Administration, Haris Vranić - SDP BiH candidate for Minister of Health, Almir Bečarević - SBiH candidate for Minister of Communal Utility Economy, Infrastructure, Spatial Planning, Construction and Environmental Protection, Adnan Šteta - SDP BiH candidate for Minister of Traffic, Enda Pavić Pečenković - SDP BiH candidate for Minister of Labour, Social Policy, Displaced Persons and Refugees, Admir Katica – People and Justice Party (NiP) candidate for Minister of Internal Affairs, Zlatko Mijatović - NiP candidate for Minister of Economy, Naida Hota-Muminović – NiP candidate for Minister of Education, Pavle Krstić – Our Party candidate for Minister of Science, Higher Education and Youth, Kenan Magoda - SDP BiH candidate for Minister of Culture and Sports, Emir Dedović - SBiH candidate for Minister of Finance, and Omer Osmanović is NIP candidate for the Minister of Veterans Affairs.

The MPs will also vote to appoint a new vice-speaker of the SC Assembly, Jelena Pekić, instead of Igor Stojanović, due to his appointment as vice-president of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
