SARAJEVO, March 21 (FENA) - The Directorate for European Integration (DEI) organized today in Sarajevo a meeting with journalists who report on European integration, where they discussed European Union Programs and Bosnia and Herzegovina's participation in those programs.
The special focus was on the Creative Europe program and its MEDIA and CULTURE sub-programs, and individual users of these programs also presented their experiences.
Head of Department in the EU Accession Assistance Programs Sector in the Directorate for European Integration Angelina Pudar spoke about EU Programs in the new financial cycle 2021-2027.
She said that in this program cycle from 2021 to 2027, BiH is currently participating in four programs. These are the programs Horizon Europe, Creative Europe, the Erasmus + Program, and the Civil Protection Mechanism Program.
According to her, the plan is to participate in two more programs - the Single Market Program, its COSME component intended for the private sector, small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as the Fiscalis Program, which is primarily intended for officials working on tax policies in the BiH institutions.
"We are planning and considering joining six more programs in different areas," said Pudar.
A representative of the BiH Creative Europe Desk, Mirjana Milićević, spoke about the Creative Europe 2021-2027 program, with special reference to the MEDIA subprogram.
Maša Marković (Head of Industry of the Sarajevo Film Festival) and Ivana Nevesinjac, assistant coordinator on another project, shared their experiences in using the MEDIA and CULTURE subprograms with journalists.
Last year, the Directorate for European Integration started a project to support journalists reporting on European integration in the form of education on the subject of EU financial assistance.
