Tegeltija - Strömquist: BiH's candidate status is an opportunity and obligation to speed up reforms

SARAJEVO, March 7 (FENA) - Deputy Chair of the BiH Council of Ministers and Minister of Finance and Treasury, Zoran Tegeltija, spoke today with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden to BiH, Johanna Strömquist, who congratulated the minister on his appointment to a new position.

The interlocutors assessed that the cooperation between the two countries is good and friendly, without open questions, and that there is room to improve it in the coming period.

The officials agreed that BiH's candidate status in the process of accession to the European Union is an opportunity and an obligation to speed up the already started reforms.

Minister Tegeltija emphasized that the priority of the work of the Ministry of Finance and Treasury of BiH is the adoption of the budget so that the institutions function smoothly, and the implementation of reforms, as well as the fulfillment of obligations to creditors, the Ministry of Finance and Treasury of BiH announced.
