SARAJEVO, February 28 (FENA) - At today's extraordinary session of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of BiH, the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) club of deputies will not vote for the decision that it was proposed that Lidija Bradara (HDZ BiH) be appointed the president of the Federation of BiH, and the two vice-presidents Igor Stojanović (SDP BiH) and Refik Lendo (SDA), confirmed the president of the SDA club, Mirsad Zaimović, during a break in the session, and stated that it is not a problem for the SDA that they are not part of the majority, but he wants "such simple majorities to be defined in the Constitution as a condition for the formation of the government".

"In that case, we would help this majority to form the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. We are only against double standards when it comes to the people's clubs in the House of Peoples of the FBiH Parliament. So, let's define it - if one club is an unavoidable factor, that is, a political party that has 13 or more delegates in one club, then the others are also unavoidable. If it is a circumventing factor, then we should define it in the Constitution and we will support such changes to go into opposition. It means that we cannot use the Constitution as needed, and it is the president of the HDZ BiH, Dragan Čović, who interprets the Constitution according to the needs of the HDZ BiH. We will support that if it is a simple majority that it has to go into the Constitution and we go to the opposition," said Zaimović.

He pointed out that the members of the SDA club will not leave today's extraordinary session of the House of Representatives, but will vote against the said decision because he believes that it is "pushing the Federation of BiH into new blockades".

He is of the opinion that "SDA has the most relevant candidate Refik Lendo for the president of FBiH".

"We could have nominated Lendo for the president of the FBiH, but we decided not to do that. We stick to our position that the appointment of the FBiH president should be part of the overall political agreement in which the SDA with the constitution as it is is an unavoidable political factor," said Zaimović.

At today's extraordinary session of the House of Representatives, the only item on the agenda is the Decision on the appointment of the president and two vice-presidents of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
