SARAJEVO, February 28 (FENA) - A member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Denis Bećirović received today the members of the Presidency of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina Mirko Pejanović, Ivo Komšić, Ejup Ganić and the first Chief of the General Staff of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina Sefer Halilović, who was also a member of the Presidency of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, on the occasion of the celebration of the Independence Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The members of the Presidency of the Republic of BiH thanked a member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denis Bećirović, for the reception in the Presidency of BiH and the respect shown on this occasion.
Bećirović pointed out that the reception of deserving people, who led the state bodies of the internationally recognized state of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, should become a traditional reception in the coming period.
Congratulating the state holiday, a member of the BiH Presidency, Denis Bećirović, recognized the members of the Presidency of the Republic of BiH for their contribution to the defense of the homeland during the aggression against the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The multi-ethnic Presidency of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina preserved the legality of the state bodies of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the most difficult times of war, which was of immeasurable importance for the survival of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
It was pointed out that it is of particular importance in times of peace to continue advocating for the preservation of the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
They pointed to the significance of March 1, the Independence Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina, one of the most important dates in the thousand-year history of our country, stated the BiH Presidency.
