SARAJEVO, February 20 (FENA) - BH Telecom presented plaques to the beneficiaries of the company's donations today, which in 2022 donated two million KM for various purposes through a public tender.
It was pointed out that among the 293 recipients of donations are 97 primary schools, 59 secondary schools, 112 associations, 18 soup kitchens and seven sports clubs. In addition, due to the natural disaster caused by the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria, BH Telecom donated 150,000 KM to the Pomozi.ba Association to help the victims.
Acting Chair of the Supervisory Board of BH Telecom, Mugdim Mandžuka, stated that a total of 448 applications were received for the allocation of donations.
The General Manager of BH Telecom, Sedin Kahriman, emphasized that BH Telecom is the largest individual donor in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which continuously helps numerous associations and organizations.
“In the last 14 years, we have donated more than 20 million KM to different organizations while also taking into account extraordinary events that required a quick reaction and our help,” said Kahriman.
Founder of the Pomozi.ba Association, Elvir Karalić, underlined that since the start of the campaign to help earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria, the Association has received a large number of donations from numerous BiH companies, but that BH Telecom's donation is by far the largest.
