SARAJEVO, February 7 (FENA) – The trial in the case against Savo Marinković, Aleksandar Macan and Marko Trifković, accused of murdering the officers of the Ministry of the Interior Affairs of the Sarajevo Canton (SC) Adis Šehović and Davor Vujinović in 2018, began in the Sarajevo Cantonal Court.
As announced, trials in this case will be held every week, one week on Mondays, and the other on Tuesdays.
The defendants, in this case, are accused of firing at least 20 shots at Šehović and Vujinović on October 26, 2018, in the Sarajevo suburb of Alipašino Polje at 4:20 a.m., after the police officers found them stealing a vehicle in Goethe Street.
Adis Šehović died of his injuries at the scene, while Davor Vujinović, who was seriously wounded, succumbed to his injuries a few hours after the attack.
The SC Prosecutor's Office, after a four-year complex investigation in this case, filed an indictment which was confirmed at the end of last year.
