CEC BiH announces preliminary incomplete results of early local elections

SARAJEVO, February 6 (FENA) - The Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CEC BiH) announced preliminary, unofficial and incomplete results from regular polling stations in the early elections for the mayors of Bihać, Tuzla, Srebrenik and Zvornik and the mayors of the municipalities of Bratunac and Vogošća. 

462 out of 485 polling stations have been processed, i.e. 95.26 percent.

In the race for mayor of Bihać, after 95.60 percent of polling stations have been processed, Elvedin Sedić (PoMAK) is in the lead, winning 6,542 votes or 39.73 percent. He is followed by Hamdija Abdić (SDA) with 4,149 or 25.20 percent of votes and Adnan Habibija (SDP) with 3,801 or 23.08 percent.

Adnan Bijelić (United NIP-NS-SDP) won 5,839 or 50.44 percent of votes after 92.54 percent of polling stations have been processed for mayor of Srebrenik, while SDA candidate Nermin Tursić won 5,737 or 49.56 percent.

Zijad Lugavić (SDP) is leading for mayor of Tuzla with 11,055 votes or 47.38 percent, after 93.75 percent of polling stations have been processed. The second independent candidate is Mirnes Ajanović with 7,223 or 30.95 percent, and the third is Omer Berbić (Our Party) with 4,163 votes or 17.84 percent.

Migdad Hasanović, the SDA candidate, is leading for the mayor of Vogošće with 4,838 votes or 63.83 percent after 93.74 percent of polling stations have been processed, while his opponent Adnan Šerak (United NIP-NS-SDP) won 2,742 or 36.17 percent of votes.

Bojan Jovanović (SNSD), who was the only candidate for the mayor of Zvornik, won 15,293 votes, while SNSD candidate Lazar Prodanović, after processing almost 97 percent of polling stations in Bratunac, was leading with 5,057 votes or 62.91 percent, compared to the independent candidate Srđan Rankić who won 2,981 or 37.09 percent of votes.
