SARAJEVO/WASHINGTON, February 3 (FENA) - A member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denis Bećirović, spoke with the member of the Congress of the United States of America, Brett Guthrie, from the State of Kentucky, about the current situation in BiH and Southeast Europe.
Bećirović emphasized that nearly 20,000 people of Bosnia and Herzegovina origin live in the State of Kentucky, who are respectable and valuable members of the US society.
He pointed out that they are the pride of both Bosnia and Herzegovina and the United States of America and an additional tie in the process of deepening cooperation between the two countries.
Congressman Guthrie also agreed with this statement by BiH Presidency member Bećirović, who also confirmed very positive experiences with people from BiH.
Congressman Guthrie invited Bećirović to pay an official visit to the State of Kentucky.
During a meaningful conversation with one of the most influential congressmen from the Republican Party in the House of Representatives of the United States Congress, Bećirović presented a new approach with the aim of stronger diplomatic activity of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the US.
He emphasized that Bosnia and Herzegovina must pay much more attention to activities in the United States.
