SARAJEVO, January 20 (FENA) - Minister of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina Sifet Podžić participated in the meeting of defense ministers within the Contact Group for the Defense of Ukraine, which was held today at the Ramstein military base in the Federal Republic of Germany.
Minister Podžić participated in the meetings of the Contact Group for the Defense of Ukraine (UDCG) at the invitation of the Secretary of Defense of the United States of America Lloyd Austin and the Chief of the Joint Staff of the US Armed Forces, General Mark Milley.
They presided over the meeting at the Ramstein military base.
The sessions discussed the current events of the war in Ukraine, information on donations to aid in the defense of Ukraine, and other issues relevant to this current military conflict on European soil.
The BiH Minister of Defense Sifet Podžić was accompanied at Ramstein by the military envoy of Bosnia and Herzegovina to FR Germany, Brigadier Kasim Podžić, stated the Ministry of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
