Exports from BiH increased by 25.9 percent and imports by 32.6 percent in 2022

SARAJEVO, January 20 (FENA) - Exports from Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2022 amounted to 17 billion and 974 million KM, which is 25.9 percent more than in 2021, while imports amounted to 28 billion and 636 million KM, which is 32.6 percent more than in 2021. 

The imports-exports coverage was 62.8 percent, while the foreign trade deficit of BiH amounted to KM 10 billion and 662 million.

Exports to CEFTA countries amounted to 3 billion and 304 million KM, which is 37.3 percent more than in 2021, while imports amounted to 3 billion and 517 million KM, which is 27.3 percent more. The imports-exports coverage to CEFTA countries was 93.9 percent.

BiH’s exports to EU countries in 2022 amounted to 13 billion and 226 million KM, which is 27.2 percent more than in 2021, while imports amounted to 16 billion and 297 million KM, which is an increase of 28 percent.

The imports-exports coverage to EU countries was 81.2 percent, according to the BiH Statistics Agency.
