SARAJEVO, December 6 (FENA) - The President of the Democratic Action Party, Bakir Izetbegović, met today in separate meetings with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Jan Waltmans, the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey, Sadik Babur Girgin, and the Ambassador of the Republic of Pakistan, Akhtar Jamil Rao.
The current situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina was discussed at the meetings, with a special focus on the General Elections and the implementation of the election results.
In the talks, Izetbegović pointed out that the Party of Democratic Action received the highest voter trust, and that it is the first party in terms of the number of votes won for all levels of government, it was announced.
Speaking about the current political situation and the implementation of the results of the General Elections, Izetbegović pointed to the unprincipled attitude of part of the international community in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is focused on creating discord within the pro-Bosnian political bloc, while completely ignoring or even supporting those political forces that are in in the past period created blockades and threatened the constitutional and legal order of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The meetings also discussed the implementation of reforms that will enable the progress of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the way to membership in the European Union, with a special focus on strengthening the rule of law, the fight against corruption and the development of the economy.
