SARAJEVO, August 22 (FENA) - International Fair of Agriculture and Food Industry known as the the ‘Plum Fair’ will be held from August 24 to 27 in Gradačac, where about 300 exhibitors from Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, Turkey and Bosnia and Herzegovina will present their exhibiting companies.
It is an opportunity for agricultural producers and processors of food and beverages to present the advantages and achievements in this economic branch.
The aim of the fair is to promote and better connect the entrepreneurship of the Tuzla Canton and Bosnia and Herzegovina, business entities in the region, and to strengthen tourism and the tourist offer. The plum fair will offer numerous sub-fair contents such as the 5th International Beekeeping Fair and a number of professional and scientific gatherings.
The arrival of numerous officials from BiH and the region is also expected, and the 49th International Fair of Agriculture and Food Industry - Plum Fair will, according to the organizers, be opened by the Prime Minister of the Federation of BiH, Fadil Novalić.
Edis Dervišagić, Mayor of Gradačac, Fadil Novalić, Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Stjepan Mesić, former President of the Republic of Croatia and Adnan Delić, Minister of Economy of Sarajevo Canton will open the 2022 Plum Fair.
