FBiH govt. with EBRD and EIB representatives on speeding up the construction on Corridor Vc

SARAJEVO, May 17 (FENA) - A delegation of the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina led by the Prime Minister of the Federation of BiH Fadil Novalić talked today at the Government headquarters with representatives of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the European Investment Bank (EIB). Also, through a video link, the meeting was attended by representatives of these European financial institutions from their headquarters, which are responsible for projects in the Federation of BiH.

The topics of the meeting were opportunities to accelerate the procedures and the dynamic of implementation of key projects on Corridor Vc, this infrastructure priority of public interest for the Federation of BiH and one of the highest priorities of the Government of the Federation of BiH.

It was pointed out that the EBRD and the EIB are important partners in the implementation of the Corridor Vc project, and that by continuously holding meetings at a technical and the highest levels, given the complexity of procedures and the project itself, this cooperation can be intensified to accelerate the construction of all sections of the motorway. 

EBRD Director for BiH Manuela Naessl pointed out the commitment of international financial partners to the Corridor Vc project, as well as the continued provision of financial support for the construction of the motorway sections.
