NEUM, March 22 (FENA) - The Digital Guide for Investors in the energy sector in BiH was launched today in Neum, a day before the Energy Summit in Bosnia and Herzegovina 2022.
The promotion was organized for dozens of journalists from the entire BiH accredited to report from the Summit. USAID Energy Policy Activity in BiH presented this very useful tool that contains information from more than 140 regulations, 50 permits and 30 competent institutions.
The Digital Guide for Investors in the energy sector in BiH is available with one click and will enable investors to obtain a personalized list of permits required for their energy project.
"The Customized Permitting Guide will provide investors with all the necessary information on permits, procedures, and competent authorities so they can complete their projects, assisting BiH in its energy transition towards renewables and creating new jobs,“ said Courtney Chubb, Chief of Mission of USAID in BiH.
As she additionally pointed out, The U.S. government will continue helping BiH attract new investment in the energy sector and remain its partner in these efforts.
The USAID EPA project prepared both a promo animated video and a tutorial video that will be available online on partnering institutions' websites in BiH in order to raise awareness among the widest possible audience about the Guide, whose widespread use should result in an increased number of investments in the energy sector in BiH, stated the USAID in BiH.
