TUZLA, February 14 (FENA) - An emergency session of the Tuzla Canton Assembly is underway, requested by 16 opposition MPs, who are proposing the dismissal of the cantonal government led by Prime Minister Kadrija Hodžić.
After the adoption of the agenda, Speaker of the Assembly of the Tuzla Canton, Sladjan Ilić, and Deputy Speaker, Vedrana Petrović, whose dismissal was proposed, among other things, on the agenda, submitted their irrevocable resignations.
The current majority in the Tuzla Canton consisted of the SDP, PDA, Our Party, SBB and independent MP Smajo Mandžić.
With the support of the new majority, PDA MP Jasmina Lugavić and independent MP Smajo Mandžić, the opposition party consisting of SDA, Democratic Front, Party for BiH and Social Democrats of BiH, have a new majority in the Tuzla Canton Assembly.
Representatives of the Party for a Better Future abstained during the vote.
