SARAJEVO, January 23 (FENA) - A total of 2,379 samples were tested in Bosnia and Herzegovina, of which 938 were positive for Covid-19. A total of 21 people died, six of them in the Federation of BiH, 14 in the Republika Srpska and one in the Brčko District of BiH. So far, 14,026 people have died in Bosnia and Herzegovina as a result of coronavirus infection.
In the past 24 hours, a total of 1,793 samples were registered with the Public Health Institute of the Federation of BiH, of which 659 were positive for SARS-CoV-2.
So far, a total of 1,128,249 samples have been tested in the FBiH, and SARS-CoV-2 has been confirmed in 217,146 people.
In the past 24 hours, six deaths have been reported in the Federation of BiH. The total number of deaths in the Federation of BiH so far is 7,819, the entity's Public Health Institute said.
In the Institute of Public Health of the Republika Srpska, the University Clinical Center of the Republika Srpska and in the Hospital Sv. Vračevi in Bijeljina tested 369 laboratory samples, and coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) was confirmed in 128 people.
In the last 24 hours, 14 deaths have been reported to the Republika Srpska Institute of Public Health.
So far, 103,433 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Republika Srpska, and a total of 5,725 people who have been tested for coronavirus have died.
In the Brčko District of BiH, one person died as a result of coronavirus, and 151 new cases of infection were registered. A total of 235 samples were tested.
