SARAJEVO, January 20 (FENA) - The total of 59,999,335.49 KM were paid from the budget of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina today for 24,766 beneficiaries in FBiH to help crafts and other independent activities in a pandemic, the Press Service of the FBiH Government said.
The goal of this financial assistance is to maintain employment, support liquidity, as well as facilitate the overcoming of the consequences of the pandemic for craftsmen and other independent activities.
“A total of 44,056 jobs in the Federation of BiH have been supported. The key to allocating funds is the average number of workers over a 12-month period. The goal of granting this financial aid is the survival of crafts and other independent activities, preserving jobs and providing liquidity support in order to mitigate the negative consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic,” said FBiH Minister of Development, Entrepreneurship and Crafts Amir Zukić.
The financial assistance is intended for the refund of the already paid part of the gross salary for employees, i.e. the part of the contributions that are calculated on the prescribed basis for the calculation of contributions for owners.
Payment of funds to supported beneficiaries was made by the FBiH Ministry of Finance in cooperation with the FBiH Ministry of Development, Entrepreneurship and Crafts.
The money was paid in accordance with the Decree on Financial Assistance to Crafts and Other Independent Activities, adopted by the Government of the Federation of BiH in October 2021, and with the Decision on Determining the List of Beneficiaries of Financial Assistance to Crafts and Other Independent Activities passed last month.
