SARAJEVO, January 13 (FENA) - The Vice President of the entity of Republika Srpska in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ramiz Salkić received death threats on January 7 via social network Facebook, which he reported to the entity's Interior Ministry.
As Salkić confirmed for FENA, the death threats came from the profile of a person named Stefan Trbić.
He said that he told the police that he has received death threats before and that they would not hinder him from spreading the truth and seeking justice for the victims and punishment for the perpetrators.
"The threats are the product of separatist Bosnian Serb activities, led by the BiH Presidency member Milorad Dodik, who gives false hope to Bosnian Serbs that they will have a new Serb state. This separatist politics should be stopped before it is too late for peace and stability in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region," said Salkić.
He expects the judicial and law enforcement institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina to investigate everything and inform the public about the results of the investigation.
