SARAJEVO, December 28 (FENA) - The prosecutor of the Special Department for War Crimes has filed an indictment against Ranko Draškić (1956) from Rogatica and Savo Manojlović (1967) from Višegrad, who are charged with crimes against humanity.
The accused are charged with war crimes committed against the Bosniak civilian population in the area of Lješevo, Ilijaš municipality, i.e. with illegal abduction and murder of 20 civilians, as well as the attempted murder of two civilians, including a woman and an elderly man, who were shot and killed, among whom were several members of the Avdukić, Fazlić and Masnopita families.
The accused are also charged with persecuting hundreds of people from the said area, as well as the population of Kadarići, who were forcibly taken and detained in camps and detention facilities in Podlugovi and Ilijaš.
The accused are charged with having personally participated in the abduction and murder of the victims as direct perpetrators.
