SARAJEVO, December 27 (FENA) - Minister of Defense of the Republic of Turkey Hulusi Akar visited the International University of Sarajevo (IUS) with his delegation today. He was the guest of honor and keynote speaker at the conference on current geopolitical issues in the world.
According to Minister Akar, the political unity and stability of Bosnia and Herzegovina are extremely important, not only for the region, but also for the whole world. He described the relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Turkey as friendly and fraternal. He also said that Turkey pays great attention to the stability of the entire Balkans and always has a constructive role and is aware of the strategic importance of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Balkans. In addition, the Minister emphasized the importance of education as one of the most important foundations for building a better future.
Minister Akar emphasized that Turkey's current efforts are aimed at building a fairer world as well as the fight against terrorism. He said terrorism is one of the biggest challenges facing the world. Akar told his friends and allies to support Turkey in its fight against terrorist organizations and that Turkey's only goal is to combat terrorism.
In the end, the minister stated that Turkey is not a threat to any country. He stated that Turkey has no aspirations towards any country, and stressed that his country is capable of defending its interests and rights. Akar ended his speech by saying that Turkey cares not only about its peace but also about the peace and stability of friendly and fraternal countries such as Bosnia and Herzegovina, the International University said.
