SARAJEVO, December 1 (FENA) - The Prosecutor of the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina has filed an indictment against Emal Amiri (2001) from Afghanistan and Matiullah Dawlatzai (1998) from Pakistan, both Afghan nationals, who are being held in custody.
The accused are charged with enabling 17 migrants from Afghanistan, India and Turkey, including minors, to enter Bosnia and Herzegovina illegally from Serbia, acting as members of an organized group with persons known to them from Afghanistan and Serbia.
On November 4, they smuggled illegal migrants over the Drina River into the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina in boats in three groups, even though they knew that they were illegal migrants who could not swim, endangering their lives, health and safety by putting them in a boat in a much larger capacity than allowed, and with the intention of further transportation to a known location on the territory of BiH, where they were stopped and apprehended by the BiH Border Police.
